Not salt tolerant of inundation by salty or brackish water.



Low/no tolerance of salty wind or direct salt spray

Habitat

Bottomland forest, hydric hammock, baygall, banks of spring run and seepage streams, wet upland mixed forest. Can be seen near several of the spring runs in Ocala National Forest.
